Brian Grego is a Los Angeles-based Art Director and Designer. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Brian studied Set Design for Theatre at Carnegie Mellon University, where he took particular interest in Architectural History and Arts Management. He has worked professionally in Theatre in Pittsburgh, New York, London and Los Angeles.
As the Supervising Art Director on Daisy Jones & The Six, Brian oversaw the execution of nearly 300 period sets and locations, all of which were facilitated by two separate crews in Los Angeles and New Orleans. His experience in theatre and live events (and his personal love of Mid-Century design) played pivotal roles in the success of the project.
Though Brian works primarily as an Art Director for Television and Film, he is also proud to hold union cards in the ADG as a Set Designer and Graphic Designer. He enjoys projects where he is able to use his skills in traditional theatre stagecraft, alongside modern skills, such as digital modeling and 3D printing.
Brian is an Emmy Award nominee for his work on Daisy Jones & The Six and is a thee-time ADG Award nominee for Daisy Jones & The Six, Little Fires Everywhere, and Future Man.
